  • A day of cooking with Chocolate sounds good to a lot of people. And studies have shown that dark chocolate is rich in antioxidants and packed with nutrients, making this bittersweet treat a superfood favourite. All great, but most of all, it tastes so good! And in this workshop you will learn how to make a beautiful Chocolate Mousse, a delicious Chocolate Torte and the best Chocolate Ganache to finish off your Torte or glace another dessert. Chocolate Torte: This dark chocolate bake is delicious and spongy but not too rich. A great dessert for your dinner party. Ganache: Glace your favourite bakes with this lustrous ganache. Dark chocolate, sugar and cream, it's heavenly. Mousse: This classic dessert is great for a dinner party, but just as great for a family night.
  • You will think you are in an Italian kitchen during this pasta-making workshop. You will learn how to make fresh egg pasta dough by hand. Then turn it into sheet pasta, and use the sheets to make Lasagna Bolognese and Spinach and Ricotta Ravioli with Tomato sauce. The Bolognese sauce and other basics like a passata and béchamel will of course also be a part of this workshop. Egg Pasta; popular legend claims Marco Polo introduced pasta to Italy following his Far East exploration in the late 13th century. But pasta can be traced back as far as the Etruscans. It has been a favoured food for countless years, not just in Italy. Now you will learn to prepare the base yourself. Lasagna Bolognese; Layers of flat pasta sheets baked with alternating layers of slow-cooked Bolognese sauce, béchamel, and Parmesan cheese. An all-time favourite. Ravioli: An Italian dumpling, filled with cheese, meat, or vegetables and typically served with a delicious tomato or cream-based pasta sauce. We will be making a classic, Spinach and Ricotta Ravioli with Tomato sauce.
  • Almonds have a very specific taste. A bit nutty, but also a sweet, slightly woody and earthy flavour. Originally from the Middle East, now every country in Europe has its recipes with almonds. In this workshop we will make a famous English tart, and it’s versatile almond filling. Plus 2 Italian almond cookies, one soft and chewy, and the other very crunchy.  Bakewell Tart: Famous in England, and Thailand will love it too; the combination of Almonds and Raspberry. A classic English dessert, best finished with some cream or custard. Frangipane is a softer, more easily spreadable almond paste used as filling in tarts, galettes, and puff pastries. Marzipan is maybe more famous, used in cakes or as a candy. For the Bakewell Tart Frangipane is the ingredient.  Ricciarelli are dense, chewy Italian almond cookies which originate in Siena. They are a distant, Italian cousin to the French macaron — perfect with tea or coffee! Biscotti, known also as cantucci, are Italian almond biscuits that originated in the Tuscan city of Prato. They are twice-baked, oblong-shaped, dry and crunchy.
  • Italian cooking is famous for its pastas, pizza’s, but also meat, fish, fruits and vegetables.  Cheeses, cold cuts and wine are another part of Italian gastronomy. In this workshop you will learn how to make some of the basics Italian recipes that can be part of any meal.  Pesto: Homemade pesto is the best way to enjoy fresh basil. It's great on pasta, baked potatoes, pizza, or bread. The right, fresh ingredients and you will never buy pesto again.  Gnocchi; Italian dumplings in different shapes and forms. They are made of small pieces of dough most traditionally composed of a combination of potato,  flour, egg and salt. Tiramisu: a famous coffee-flavoured Italian dessert. It is made of cookies, usually lady fingers dipped in coffee, layered with mascarpone cheese, flavoured with cocoa.
  • British pub classic recipes are a staple of traditional British cuisine and are a favourite among many. These recipes are typically hearty and filling, perfect for enjoying alongside a pint of beer at a local pub. They often feature simple, yet flavourful ingredients, and the recipes have been passed down through generations. Some of the most popular British pub classics include fish and chips, Chicken Kiev, Scotch eggs with salad cream and pies. These dishes have become beloved comfort food and are a must-try for anyone looking to experience the tastes and traditions of British cuisine.
  • The region of Catalonia has a strong culinary reputation for classic, down-to-earth food which would be impossible without a handful of essential ingredients. Olive oil, jamón and bell peppers are the top three. Due to its proximity to the Mediterranean, it includes great seafood dishes and a variety of rice dishes. One of which we will make in this workshop: Seafood and Chicken Paella; Paella, in Catalan cuisine, is a dish of saffron infused rice cooked with meats, seafood, and vegetables. Originating in the rice-growing areas on the Mediterranean coast, the dish is especially associated with the region of Valencia.  Croquetas de Jamón is a type of tapas. Croquetas are one of those dishes which can make it to your list of favourite comfort foods. Fried and crunchy, and it can literally be any flavour you like! Croquetas de Jamón is one of the main favourites. Crèma Catalana; There is nothing better than ending a leisurely lunch (or dinner) with a Crema Catalana and a strong café solo. Maybe not as famous as the French Creme Brûlée, but certainly as delicious. 
  • No country has the same passion for cooking with lemons as the Italians. Well, maybe the Persians, where the lemon originated from. The Italians crossbred the lemon with bitter orange until they had the Amalfi lemon. Chefs love them. In this workshop, we will make a great variety of dishes with lemon. Sicilian Lemon Tart tastes unbelievable and is sure to get a lot of appreciation from your dinner guests or family. Usually it is made with Amalfi Lemons; large, fragrant and very juicy, but we will have to make different ones for now. The sweet pastry that is required for this recipe we will make as well. Lemon Curd; curd is a dessert spread and topping usually made with citrus fruit, such as lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit or tangerine. Other variations and combinations are possible too, but we go for the best one: Lemon Curd. Pink Risotto with Lemon and Fennel: Risotto is a northern Italian rice dish cooked with broth until it reaches a creamy consistency. It is one of the most common ways of cooking rice in Italy. We will combine fragrant fennel and lemon with the rice.
  • French cuisine is known for some of the most famous dishes in the world. In France, cooking is a sport! Food is one of the most important parts of French culture and society. In this workshop 3 of those famous dishes. Chicken Chasseur; the word Chasseur is the French word for hunter. This dish was traditionally paired with game meats, and when returning from the hunt the men would gather mushrooms and fresh herbs to be used in the sauce. Onion Soup; French onion soup is usually based on meat stock and onions, and often served gratinéed with croutons or a larger piece of bread covered with cheese floating on top. Already a long time a French favourite, it became more famous outside of France in the 1960s. Tarte Tatin, named after the Tatin sisters who created this tart. A pastry in which the fruit, in most cases apples, is caramelised in butter and sugar before the tart is baked upside down. It originated in French Val de Loire but has spread to other countries over the years. Besides fruit, it can also be made with a savoury filling.  
  • This Indian cooking workshop offers a unique opportunity for food enthusiasts to learn the art of preparing authentic Indian food. Indian cuisine is known for its diverse flavours, aromatic spices, and rich cultural history. Chef Chris will guide you through creating traditional Indian dishes such as Beef Madras, Chicken Tikka Masala, Mango Chutney and more. You will learn about the ingredients used in Indian cooking and the techniques required to bring out the complex flavours and textures of each dish. This workshop is a great way to expand your culinary skills and experience the rich flavours of Indian cuisine. In this workshop, you will take home all the food you prepare, surely enough to feed four people with a great Indian feast with all the accompaniments.

  • Welcome to our salad-making and salad dressing-making workshop! Salads are not only healthy, but they can also be incredibly delicious and satisfying when prepared with the right ingredients and dressings. In this workshop, we'll show you how to create a variety of tasty and nutritious salads using fresh, seasonal ingredients, as well as teach you the art of making your own homemade salad dressings. Whether you're a seasoned home cook or just starting out in the kitchen, this workshop will give you the tools and techniques you need to create mouthwatering salads that will impress your family and friends.  In this workshop, you will take home all the food you prepare, but we are not working with a fixed menu. Depending on the harvest season and availability of fresh vegetables the menu will be adjusted for each workshop. We will prepare several well-known salad dressings in the workshop and show you how to adjust them to available salad ingredients. And of course requests will be taken for the salads.
